Setting goals for the upcoming year and what is to come for “Read The Plans”

Going into 2026, after many new work experiences and talking with alot of younger interns and aspiring architects, we have gained some guidance on what direction “Read The Plans” will take starting in 2026.
Off to a bit of a late start, but none the less gets get the ball rolling………………. Starting n 2026 the focus will be to provide insight and share the experiences from a career spanning 25 years in the industry. Providing insight on how office really work, the process of developing construction documents on actual projects, reviewing building systems and reviewing codes. Additionally we will touch on softwares that are used, the keys to communication, construction site realities and career paths to name a few.
